Nice guy said "send'er back and we'll take care of the problems. So I called up customer service and explained my problems. Functionally, probably not a problem but it was just plain ugly. Then there were some ugly, deep drilling marks inside the top strap where the barrel was fit. Tried some different factory stuff and then my reloads and all had issues loading and unloading. Mainly, you couldn't hardly load the revolver without almost forcing the bullets through the gate into the cylinder. base pin, lighter trigger and hammer springs, loading dies, brass, bullets and was ready to rock and roll. So, got the gun, ordered a birdshead grip frame, some buffalo horn (imitation) panels, new sights, Belt Mt. I've always wanted the Vaquero Birdshead in. Some of you guys out there are going to come back and say "What the hey?, mine's a peach!" But nevertheless, I got my new Ruger Single Seven 4 5/8" about a month ago.
